movie quote – The quote i am that second mouse is showing Frank Sr’s perceived success as he says this quote to tell people of how hard work inevitably leads to success. The quote is taken to heart by Frank Jr as this shows his fathers success and how Frank is using his father as a role model.
The character representing father has in his hands cards and a cigarette to show negative habits and how the child inside him which represents his son or daughter is growing up and could be susceptible to these negative habits.
Written beside is “seek family counselling to help your family be happy”. – this is essentially the catchline of the poster and is what connects the actual image to what is being advertised the role of the service of family counselling is to help show that family counselling could help with the problems of the family and how the fathers negative habits are effecting the child as his father is his role model.
I have only used one other colour than black which is red and this is to symbolise danger. The cards and the cigarettes are both red and the quote in the bottom of the page is outlined in red to show how theses words also have negative effects in this way. But most importantly the child is in red to show how he is in danger from the other objects that are in red. This contrast brings these specific objects into focus.
The most powerful part of the static image is the inclosing darkness around the two people. This darkness fills the space around the father and is also used to give emphasis to the catch line and family services logo. There is also a small bit of red throughout the darkness to show the danger.
